Advanced software tracks container movements more efficiently.

TIV has invested heavily in sophisticated terminal computerisation systems for container operations. The advanced software system, NAVIS N4 provides TIV with accurate and real-time information for planning, managing and tracking container movement throughout the container terminal. All job instructions created are immediately sent to staff through an LXE wireless network using Wi-Fi radio frequency technology. TIV customers are able to update as well as download information from both systems through a dedicated website. A radio communication system based on TETRA digital technology is in place to ensure easy and reliable communications amongst staff. All these systems ensure the real-time management of terminal operations allowing quicker reaction times to unplanned spikes in demand.
